What to see during the Fêtes Maritimes de Douarnenez?

On the quays

Immerse yourself in the festive and friendly atmosphere on the quays!

More than just a parade, the Fêtes Maritimes de Douarnenez invites you to immerse yourself in maritime culture.

It's an invitation to discover, through demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions, the age-old skills that keep this unique heritage alive.

Marine carpentry, seamanship, blacksmithing, rowing... the secrets of seafaring trades will hold no secrets for you.

On the water

The port of Le Rosmeur will once again play host to an exceptional fleet of traditional boats from all over the world.

More than 700 boats, from small Breton canoes to large square-rigged 3-masts, will invade Douarnenez Bay for 4 days of parades, demonstrations and sailing.

Don't miss the chance to see the boats up close and personal, and come aboard for guided tours or sea outings.

The programme promises to be full of excitement: manoeuvring competitions, sculling challenges, sailing initiations and the Marins Solidaires challenge will punctuate these 4 days of festivities!

The music

Beyond the boats, the Fêtes maritimes de Douarnenez invites you to take a musical and festive journey to discover the popular music of Brittany and the world.

The programme, devised by La Criée and a committee of passionate volunteers, offers a diversity of styles to suit all tastes.
